I have over 20 years of experience in financial services, gained from working in various roles including administration, compliance, paraplanning and advising. This has allowed me to develop a broad base of knowledge and experience.

I am responsible for ensuring the LIFT group meets all of its regulatory responsibilities, as well as providing the technical support that the business needs in terms of compliance and paraplanning. I also enjoy helping out when I can with the Paraplanners Assembly organisation, which is a great way of sharing best practice and ideas with the Paraplanning community.

There are a number of things that drive me within my role; the main one is helping our clients get the most ‘life’ out of their money, by helping them understand their finances better and explore what they can use their money to help them do. I also enjoy it when I hear our clients’ success stories, such as when we have been able to tell a client they could retire earlier than they thought. One of the most interesting aspects of financial planning is the evolving ‘science’ and academic work being done across the world in relation to financial planning and behavioural economics. I believe this can only help us deliver better outcomes to our clients.
