We work with the best in the industry
We work with sports professionals from early in their career through to retirement and beyond. What they have in common is a desire to make the most of their income, to make sure they’re financially secure in retirement and to work with a partner who they can trust.
You need to have confidence and trust in the team that surrounds you and avoid those advisers who see pound signs when they meet a successful player. Our clients pay a fee for our expertise and guidance and they know that everything we recommend is in their best financial interests. You can be assured that we’re professional planners – not salespeople.

Sports FAQs
Financial planning refers to the process of setting and achieving financial goals by assessing your current financial situation, developing strategies, and implementing appropriate actions. We know players careers are short, so it is very important to choose the team that will help you grow and protect your wealth. It involves analysing various aspects of finances; including but not limited to, income, expenses, investments, taxes, insurance, and retirement planning. The goal of financial planning is to create a comprehensive plan to help you manage your finances effectively, make informed decisions, and achieve your short-term and long-term financial objectives. It takes into account factors such as income sources, expenses, debts, savings, investment opportunities, and risk tolerance, among others. Financial planning is a dynamic process that requires periodic reviews and adjustments based on changing circumstances, goals, and economic conditions. Seeking the guidance of a Chartered Financial Planner can be beneficial in developing and implementing an effective financial plan tailored to specific needs and objectives.
Our financial planners offer fee-based advice, which means the charges are clear and transparent and you will know exactly what you are paying for. We ask you to sign a Service & Fee Agreement prior to undertaking any chargeable work. This sets out the services that we are providing and the fees that we will charge for the services, as well as your selected payment method. We’ll tell you if any payments are subject to VAT. Our initial fees are payable once we’ve completed our agreed work and must be settled within 28 business days. Our fees for ongoing services will start immediately after your agreement to proceed with the advice provided in our suitability report. Our ongoing services are optional, but if you agree to purchase an ongoing service unless otherwise agreed, the ongoing service will be provided as a follow-up to the initial service.
Initial meetings allow you to have a chat with one of our Chartered Financial Planners to discuss any questions you may have regarding your finances. These meetings are held at our expense and can help you decide whether you wish to use our services. You can book a free consultation here: www.lift financial.com/contact-us/
